Staffing a Training Weekend is a special and sacred

Requirements for staffing a Woman Within® Training
Weekend are:
-
Completion
of Woman Within® Training Weekend.
-
Completion
of the Empowerment Circle Manual Training in an 8-10 week or intensive format.
(This requirement is waived if training is not available in your
area).
-
Completion
of Women Empowering Women (WEW).
The staffing committee may select a woman to staff if she has
not completed this workshop if she commits to participate in WEW
within one year of the Training Weekend she staffs.
-
Commitment
to work on your own issues in some way.
It is very important that each woman commits to do her
individual work apart from staffing Training Weekends, so that she
contains her own issues while staffing and is fully present
physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
-
Payment
of staffing fees - $85 US for the first 3 staffings and $50 for
staffing thereafter. This
fee covers, in part, the food and lodging costs for staff.
-
Attendance
at the Celebration following the Training Weekend.
Staff who do not live in the area where the Training Weekend
was held are exempt from this requirement.
Staffing Application Process:
-
Complete
a Woman to Woman Midwest 2002 staffing application, which can be found
on the Midwest website as of 2002 or obtained by the Director of Staff
Coordination for Woman to Woman Midwest (contact information appears
below). Mail or email your completed staffing application so that it
is received at least 60 days prior to the Training Weekend you wish to
staff. When your application is received, your name will be placed on
the list of potential staff for the Training Weekend requested. (As part of
your personal accountability, it is important that you keep a copy of
your staffing application so you can notify the Staff Coordinator if
your availability to staff the Training Weekend (s) you requested changes.)
-
Staff
selection will be made approximately 60 days prior to each Training
Weekend by the Woman to Woman Midwest Staffing Committee.
-
Approximately
30 days prior to a Training Weekend, a letter will be mailed to each
woman requesting to staff that Training Weekend notifying her that she
is 1) confirmed to staff, 2) placed on an alternate list in the event
of cancellations by confirmed staff, or 3) not likely to be called to
staff due to the number of women applying to staff that Training
Weekend.
-
You
will be informed by the Director of Staff Coordination if you need to
complete additional preparation prior to staffing.
-
Staff
requests received after staff has been selected will be considered on
an as-needed basis.
Contact
the Director of Staff Coordination if you choose to apply to staff Training Weekends
in addition to those checked on your staffing application
filed with the Administrative Office. It is not necessary for you to complete
a new staffing application to add requests during the same year.
